Griffin attends LEED Certification for the McDonald's Project in Cary, NC. The project received LEED GOLD Certification. Griffin provided basic and enhanced commissioning services to the project.

Griffin Engineering begins supporting North Carolina State Energy Office by conducting Energy Surveys and providing Technical Assistance (developing Energy Plans) for various counties and other entities throughout North Carolina.

Griffin Engineering begins their first LEED Project at Camp Lejeune. Griffin is providing LEED Pre-requisite and Enhanced Commissioning Services for a new facility on base.

Griffin Engineering is the Commissioning Authority for DPAC.
The Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) opens in November 2008. DPAC features 2,800 seats in a 100,000 square foot venue specially designed to host the largest direct-from-New York Broadway shows plus concerts and special events.
