Griffin Engineering continues sponsoring the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series, www.VCHSS.org for the 2012 season.
The series is family oriented, well organized, and teaches the young racers sportsmanship in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere.

Jim Griffin, PE achieves "Certified Commissioning Authority" from AABC Commissioning Group (ACG).

Jim Griffin, PE is appointed to the NEBB Commissioning Committee.
August 2010
Griffin begins relationship with Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. Griffin will provide Commissioning Authority and HVAC Test, Adjust, and Balance services for several Suffolk projects at Camp Lejeune, Ft. Bragg, and NAVFAC SPAWAR in SC.
We are also continuing to provide support to NC State Energy Office. Recent services include pre-construction Measurement and Verification for projects at Pitt County and the City of Durham.

Griffin attends LEED Certification for the McDonald's Project in Cary, NC. The project received LEED GOLD Certification. Griffin provided basic and enhanced commissioning services to the project.

Griffin Engineering begins supporting North Carolina State Energy Office by conducting Energy Surveys and providing Technical Assistance (developing Energy Plans) for various counties and other entities throughout North Carolina.

Griffin Engineering begins their first LEED Project at Camp Lejeune. Griffin is providing LEED Pre-requisite and Enhanced Commissioning Services for a new facility on base.
